Historic Places Tairāwhiti's second annual talkfest will keep conversations flowing about first meetings in Tūranganui a Kiwa in 1769.

Ten speakers – comprising a cross-section of the community – will talk for about five minutes each on this year's topic, What’s in a name?

Historic Places Tairāwhiti is the voice of heritage in the region.
